Timing and Forgetfulness

I chose to ride my bike yesterday, come hell or high water. And I got the high water part. Sky water, anyway. Recently, I purchased a helmet cover, to keep the rain out on wet rides. It would have been a good time to test it yesterday, if only I had remembered it. And if I had planned my ride for Sunday instead of Saturday, I wouldn't have needed the helmet cover at all!
